How the Glitter Realm Works
Glitter Realm Return Policy 

Your complete satisfaction with our products is Glitter Realm’s top priority. If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us via email at info@glitterrealm.com.  Only non-cosmetic, unopened, unused and untested merchandise may be returned within 10 days. Please note all cosmetic sales are final. We do not offer exchanges, refunds or returns for cosmetics including lipstick, eyeshadow, highlighters, cosmetic glitter etc. Please note all sale items are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds or exchange. Please contact us to receive a return authorization prior to sending back any merchandise. Failure to do so may result in the refusal of your package upon its delivery to us. This policy pertains strictly to all merchandise, including our Nail Lacquers, which are prohibited by law from being returned to us via the United States Postal Service.

Glitter Realm will not be held liable for returns that are damaged, destroyed or lost en route back to us, so please select a secure shipping method for your returns. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. International Orders and Package Sets may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Damaged Merchandise

Any merchandise that arrives to our customers damaged or not matching your order will be immediately replaced, and no additional shipping charges will be incurred by the customer. Please report any damaged or missing products immediately upon receipt, so that the appropriate claims can be filed with our shipping companies.

If you do receive a damaged product please take photos of the damage and the package, including photos of the labels the product was shipped in. Please note photos of the shipping packages must be submitted with the photos of the damage in order to be able to process and accept your exchange request. Email these to us at info@glitterrealm.com within 24 hours of receipt of product. Neglecting to do so and/or use/testing of the products despite the damage constitutes acceptance of the item in the condition it arrives in, and renders us unable to file the appropriate claim, which will result in the refusal of your return.

CUSTOMS FEES & SALES TAX

International Customers please note that you will be responsible for any and all customs fees, taxes, tariffs or duties levied by your government. Please be aware that these fees will usually be collected by the shipping agency upon delivery. Please note that we are unable to fulfill any request to declare your package for any value other than the total value paid at check out. As our business is located in Florida State, we are obligated to collect Sales Tax on all purchases originating from Florida State.

Our cosmetic glitters are cruelty and we cary a variety of vegan friendly cosmetics.  Glitter Realm cosmetics are also free of Formaldehyde and adhesives. Toxin free Binders are used to keep the product in a solid “pressed” condition. Additionally preservatives are used to maintain the freshness of the product extending the shelf life by a year. Please note Glitter Realm preservatives are Formaldehyde free. For the best results, please store your pressed glitters in a cool dry place and out of direct sunlight.

How do Glitter Realm Cosmetics Compliment Everyday Makeup Products?

Glitter Realm Cosmetics are perfectly compatible with all other make-up brands including highlighters, eyeshadows, eyeliners, glosses, lipsticks, lip tints, mascaras, blushes or bronzers. Glitter Realm glitters can be used on their own or as a cosmetic enhancer. Glitter Realm is the perfect addition to your makeup collection and promises to take your application experiences to exciting new heights.

Glitter Realm glitter can also be used to enhance: hair, body, face, nail polish and tattoos.

Are Glitter Realm Cosmetics Safe to Use around my Eyes?

Our glitter is non toxic and made from polyester which softens when applied to the skin. Our products are approved as a cosmetic glitter by the EU cosmetic law regulations which make it safe to use on the skin. All glitter is currently approved for cosmetic use in the EU and Asia. Currently all glitter in the USA has been given a grace period and labeled by the FDA to be used in cosmetics as “discretionary”. As always we advise all of our customers to be safe and careful when using glitter around the delicate eye area and in doing so will be held at their own discretion.


What is the Difference Between Glitter Realm’s Cosmetic Glitter and Craft Glitter ?

Cosmetic glitter is  finely milled and generally cut into microfine hexagonal and circular shapes with rounded particles which soften when applied to the skin. This reduces the risk of scratching, making it ideal for any makeup cosmetic application.

The main difference between craft and cosmetic glitter is that craft glitter is primarily metal based. They are usually cut at angles, such as squares which is extremely dangerous for using around the eye area. Even if you only apply it on the lid with a really strong glue… it only takes one little particle of the metal to fall into your eye and you run the risk of serious cornea scratches in your eye. We seriously do not recommend using craft glitter in place of cosmetic glitter. Craft glitter may also be colored with toxic dyes that can cause irritation to the skin, our cosmetic glitters are colored using non toxic dyes.
As we know cosmetic glitter has been used in the beauty and fashion realm for ages. However, with all makeup use we recommend you exercise caution when using cosmetic glitter around the eye area and thus using it around your eyes is at your own discretion and risk.

Where will my order ship from?

All orders ship from multiple locations throughout the United States. We currently use Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers as our order fulfillment company. Amazon has multiple centers located throughout the states. As such many packages will be shipped in Amazon labeled packaging as they process the majority of our items.  We also have our main warehouse located in Miami Beach Florida in the United States. Our return address is P.O Box 416595 Miami Beach FL, 33141.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders shipped to the United States and Canada will cost a flat rate of $6. We are pleased to offer free ground shipping to the US and Canada on all orders over $75. International shipping costs will be calculated at the time of checkout once your full address has been entered.

Is my order insured?

All of our priority parcels are insured via the United States Postal Service with up to $100 of insurance in case your order is lost, damaged, or stolen. First Class Flat Rate parcels are not insured. If you would like to request signature confirmation or insurance added to your order please email us at info@glitterrealm.com

We suggest adding insurance and signature confirmation to your shipments of value. This is the most secure way to have your packages delivered and protect yourself against lost, damaged, or stolen orders. As such Glitter Realm Cosmetics is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages. In the event your order is confirmed delivered but you have not received your package, you will need to contact your shipping carrier directly. We cannot provide refunds or replace shipments confirmed “Delivered” by our carriers.

How long does shipping take?

All orders take 1-2 days to process and then are shipped via UPS or USPS priority mail, or FIRST Class Flat Rate Mail. Flat Rate mail within the US takes typically 4-10 business days via standard mail. If your item is placed on backorder or there is a large influx of orders due to sales or around the holidays our shipping and processing time may take longer. In the event that this happens all customers will be notified and generally an announcement will be included on the product description. Backorder/pre-order (not in stock) items are typically shipped within 14-28 days.

Split Shipments/ Multiple Packages?

As our products are fulfilled by a third party shipping service (Amazon FBA) your order may arrive in multiple shipments, from multiple locations within the United States. If your order is split into multiple packages they may arrive on separate dates (especially if you order a combination of in stock and out of stock items (pre-order/back-order). You will receive a tracking code for each shipment via email.
